本日、AppleがAffiliate Programの登録者向けに本プログラムの内容改定を実施するメールを送信しています。
同社が送信しているメールには以下の通りの記載が行われています。
「Thank you for participating in the affiliate program for apps. With the launch of the new App Store on both iOS and macOS and their increased methods of app discovery, we will be removing apps from the affiliate program. Starting on October 1st, 2018, commissions for iOS and Mac apps and in-app content will be removed from the program. All other content types (music, movies, books, and TV) remain in the affiliate program. 」
「App Storeのアフィリエイトプログラムにご参加いただきありがとうございます。新しいiOSとmacOSのApp Storeの開始により、Appの見つけやすさが一段と向上しました。これに伴いまして、Appがアフィリエイトプログラムの対象から除外されることになりました。2018年10月1日以降、iOSとMacのAppとApp内コンテンツは、アフィリエイトプログラムの報酬対象外となります。音楽、映画、ブックなど、その他の全てのコンテンツは、引き続きプログラムの対象です。」
上記の通り、AppleはiOSとMac App、App内課金に対するアフィリエイトプログラムを終了すると発表しました。これにより、Appを紹介することによるアフィリエイト収入は一律発生しなくなります。
なお、音楽、映画、ブックなど、その他の全てのコンテンツは引き続きプログラムの対象となるということです。
